1 cup milk or half-and-half
½ cup chicken or seafood broth
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional but classic)

1 prepared pie crust (top & bottom or single deep dish)
½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella (optional)
1 egg beaten (for egg wash)

1️⃣ Prepare the Filling
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Sauté onion, celery, and bell pepper until soft.
Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
