Easy hot toddy recipe for busy days!

You’ll need (for 1 mug)

1 cup (240 ml) hot water (or hot herbal tea, like chamomile)

1–2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup, to taste)

1–2 slices fresh lemon

1 small slice fresh ginger (optional, but so good)

1 small cinnamon stick or a pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Quick Instructions (5 minutes)

Heat the water

Boil water in a kettle or microwave a mug of water until hot (but not exploding lava).

Add the flavor stuff

Pop the lemon slices, ginger slice, and cinnamon into your mug.

Sweeten it

Stir in honey or maple syrup until it dissolves.

Taste and add a bit more if you like it sweeter.

Let it sit for 2–3 minutes

This gives the ginger, lemon, and cinnamon time to infuse.

Sip & enjoy

Remove the ginger or cinnamon stick if you like, or leave them in for extra flavor.

Grab a blanket, open your laptop/book, and enjoy your warm, soothing drink.
