Garlic Butter Chicken with Parmesan Rice

Ingredients

For the Chicken

 

2 large chicken breasts, sliced into thin cutlets

 

1 tsp salt

 

½ tsp black pepper

 

1 tsp paprika

 

1 tbsp olive oil

 

2 tbsp butter

 

4 garlic cloves, minced

 

½ cup chicken broth

 

½ cup heavy cream

 

¼ cup grated Parmesan

 

1 tbsp lemon juice

 

Fresh parsley, chopped

 

For the Creamy Parmesan Rice

 

1 cup long-grain rice (uncooked)

 

1 tbsp butter

 

2 cups chicken broth

 

¼ cup Parmesan

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

⭐ Instructions

1. Cook the Chicken

 

Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.

 

Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan.

 

Add chicken cutlets and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

 

2. Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

 

In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter.

 

Add minced garlic and sauté 30 seconds.

 

Pour in chicken broth and simmer 2 minutes.

 

Add cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice.

 

Stir until smooth and slightly thick.

 

Return chicken to the pan and coat with sauce.

 

3. Prepare the Parmesan Rice

 

Melt butter in a separate pot.

 

Add rice and stir to coat for 1 minute.

 

Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.

 

Cover and cook 15 minutes, until fluffy.

 

Stir in Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
